Maybe I shouldn't have said that lighter wheels "reduce turbo lag"... but the way I think of lag is anything occuring before the turbos kick in. Of course the turbos will still spool at the same RPM... I thought that was obvious. However, you will be reducing the amount of time, or lag, from when the gas pedal is pressed down at low RPMs until you reach full boost because your motor is allowed to rev quicker and get through the gear faster. I guess 'lag' is an overused term.
